Delete your StudyMind account

This page explains how to delete your account in StudyMind, the app by TX Fintech Ltd, with or without the app, and what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

Open StudyMind and sign in.
Tap Settings (the gear icon in the bottom bar).
Tap Privacy & Data, then Delete My Account under “Your Data”.
Tap Delete to confirm. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more, so that we can also cancel StudyMind's access to your Apple ID.

Delete your account without the app

Enter the email address of your StudyMind account and send the request.

We then write to that address within 2 working days to check that the request comes from you, and delete the account once you reply. If you signed in with Apple and chose “Hide My Email”, your account uses an address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com; enter that address if you know it, or write to support@txfintech.com and we will help you find the account.

You can also email support@txfintech.com from your account's address with the subject “Delete my account”.

What happens next

Right away (or, if you asked on this page or by email, as soon as you have confirmed the request): your account is closed, you are signed out on all devices, and StudyMind's access to your Apple ID is cancelled.
For 30 days: your data is kept, in case the request was a mistake. To keep your account, write to support@txfintech.com before the 30 days end.
After 30 days: we erase your account and all data linked to it: your name, email and password, the connection to your Apple or Google sign-in, your study preferences, assessment answers, results and matches, AI-written texts, reports, favourites, and usage records.

What we keep, and for how long

Before you delete

Your plan ends with the account. A plan you bought is linked to your StudyMind account and cannot be restored on a new account. Deleting the account does not refund a purchase; refunds are handled by Apple or Google (see Support).
Download your report first if you want to keep it. Reports you already downloaded stay on your phone after the account is deleted.
Deleting the app is not enough: uninstalling StudyMind does not delete your account.
